On December 18, 2023, Migrant Workers Day was celebrated at Colombo, Sri Lanka Forum College, organized by VOM (Voice of Migration). The special guest was the Honorable Manusha Nanayakkara, Foreign Employment Minister, and representatives from financial institutions such as SDC, Helvetas, Solitaries, and other civil organizations took part in the event. Mr. S. Anandarasa and leaders from the Sammanthurai, Irakkamam Migration Society, representing the SWOAD organization, also participated in the event.
