On June 25, 2019, a crucial awareness seminar was conducted in the Sammanthurai area, focusing on the imperative issue of “Drug Eradication.” The seminar, attended by 47 individuals, was organized with the collaboration of the Social Reform Officer, Mrs. Jeganathan, and the RDO, Mrs. Rashid Mohammad. The primary objective of the seminar was to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking and the urgent need for eradicating drug abuse within the community.
