Welcome to Social Welfare Organization Ampara District

3 Review discussions with development officers

It’s noteworthy that the project has undertaken review discussions involving 120 Development Officers for Foreign Employment (DO-FE) in Ampara district, under the Ministry of Foreign Employment. These discussions, conducted under the supervision of DOFE Coordinator A.M. Farzan, serve to clarify the purpose of the migrant workers’ welfare associations established in the project areas.

The aim of these discussions is not only to articulate the objectives of the associations but also to provide insights into the activities carried out through these associations. Additionally, the sessions delve into how Foreign Employment Development Officers can collaborate with these associations in the future, ensuring the effective implementation of services for the welfare of migrant workers.

These review discussions facilitate an open dialogue about the advantages and challenges associated with the project. By engaging with DO-FE and fostering collaboration, the project seeks to optimize its impact and create a more supportive and informed environment for migrant workers in the Ampara district. This collaborative approach is crucial for ensuring the success and sustainability of initiatives aimed at supporting migrant workers and their families.
