Social Welfare Organisation in Ampara District (SWOAD) with the help of World University Service of Canada (WUSC) has signed an agreement between SWOAD, WUSC and ABTA to provide vocational training courses to youth in Amparai district for job vacancies in the tourism sector and thereby. this eventheld on the 24th june of 2015 at the SWOAD headquarters in Akkaraipattu
During this event, Mr. V. Paramasingham (President of SWOAD), Ms. Angele Touchette (Director of World University Service of Canada), and Mr. M.H.A. Rakim ( Arugampai Tourist Hotels Association President ) signed an agreement to provide employment to 120 youth.

Irfan( Coordinator of NGOs Kachcheri) , Mr. Yesu Sakayam (Chief Program Officer for Amparai District of Canadian World University) and representatives of non-governmental organizations and entrepreneurs participated in the event.
