In view of Dengue Awareness Week, on 29.05.2025, a cleanup and waste removal activity was carried out in Karaichchi to create a dengue-free environment, in collaboration with the Karaitivu Regional Health Unit. Public Health Inspector (PHI) Mr. K. Jemail conducted an awareness session for the public on the effects of dengue infection, and a strenuous cleanup operation was undertaken.
