Under the Model Village Development Project, SWOAD conducted an awareness seminar for pregnant women in the Karaitivu Divisional area on 22.05.2026.
The program was organized under the leadership of the Regional Manager and field staff with the participation of a Public Health Midwife (PHM). The session focused on providing awareness and guidance regarding maternal health and proper nutrition during pregnancy.
As part of the program, nutritious food packages for women were provided to the pregnant participants to support their nutritional needs.
